Financial Analyst at KBW Financial

An industry leading Real Estate Investment company has an opening for a Financial Analyst to join their team in Boston. The Financial Analyst will report to the Manager of Lease Administration & have the primary responsibility of performing accounting support functions for commercial properties and properties under redevelopment/construction. The Financial Analyst will also get involved with supporting the company’s Risk Management function.

Compensation up to $80,000 plus bonus DOE.

The role requires someone to be local to be the Boston area and will be in the office a few days each week.

Job Description:
- Handle monthly capital close process, including subledger reconciliations and fixed asset adjustments for our Property, Corporate, and Portfolio accounting teams.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly entries including construction management fee, impairment, purchase accounting, and held-for-sale entries.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly schedules for capital review, lease liability and renovation date reporting.
- Assist with the review of quarterly insurance adjustments, premium allocations, and tracking of invoice payments and refunds.
- Review annual commercial property and GL/Umbrella policy updates and coordinate with property management, tenants and corporate employees on policy changes.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business/Accounting 
- Basic understanding of general ledger activity, preference with Yardi application.
- Proficiency with Excel and other MS applications.
