Location/Site: AP30-2 [on site 5 days per week, M-F]
To clarify, we need any candidate to be on-site 5 days a week, and after their training period [90 days] then they can be on site 3 days.

Job Description
The Financial Analyst, is responsible for providing primary support for the preparation of Product Financial Flows for products and transfer prices process into ***, or monitors the margin accounting journal entries and supports month-end accounting and reporting for Margin ledger and annual cost planning related to product cost.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assist in creating *** Product Financial Flows
Support the preparing the documentation of transfer pricing calculations in accordance with tax rules, including information and data gathering, status calls with stakeholders.
Support TP issuance for products in Planning process and Daily process
Develop and deliver training to affiliates and headquarters finance groups
Monitor the margin posting programs and trouble shoot issues
Supports month-end accounting including preparing journal entries and reporting for margin ledger and annual cost planning related to product cost.
Qualifications
Basic:
B.A./B.S. In Accounting, Finance or Management Information System required
0-2 years of experience working in financial analysis, audit, costing accounting, or working in a global tax environment, experience in transfer pricing preferred. - open to various past work experiences, strong desire to learn and dev
Strong critical thinking skills, applying transfer pricing concepts to differing fact patterns.
Must possess strong attention to detail and have an exceptional analytical and quantitative background.
Very strong organizational skill set with ability to prioritize, plan, work independently, implement projects and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Spotlight Call Notes:
Transfer Price side looking for an analyst, working with a lot of details. The price we sell between our legal entities, using tables to determine the costs. We have explanations for various codes, etc. This is to assist during the plan time. We create rather large Excel Workbooks that explain the process, internal system call IPS. We ask them to create these reports for each legal entity by division as a legal format to follow, to create these workbooks which are subject to audits.
Elizabeth has some specifics for her area as well as Bo will have specifics to her area. It is a non-typical finance role. But is an interesting role. A lot of working within Excel, pulling data from SAP, STRONG EXCEL skills needed.
Not be afraid to ask questions like to see progression in the questions being asked, would look to see the questions become more technical as they progress and learn the role.
We have additional Master Data that the person will be handling, not on a large scale, but would be guided to work with this data as needed.
Some Margin work supporting Bo. There will be journal entries as well in this role. We will provide all guidance for all of this.
Occasionally, will need to work with the tax team, but we will guide them through this aspect as well. EXCEL skills and analytical skills are the main skills needed. Strong communication skills needed.
As long as transfer pricing experience is not required, we can staff at the rates requested. We see transfer pricing individuals we would be interested in meeting with these individuals within our price point.
Open to newly graduates, most recent contractor, recent grad with an MA, but no experience. Organizational skills, willing to learn, curious. We like to respond within four business days of receiving a request, to have it responded to the original requester.
If you are looking recent grads, BA is perfectly fine, the above example, just happened to have an MA, but MA is not at all required. We are not opposed to new grads, we are open to Excel/Accounting experience.

What do you look at on the resume that would draw you to them? Look at prior work experience. We interviewed a variety of individuals in the last round, there were a lot of recent grads. When not recent grads, what does their story look like, do they have tenure? Are they hopping along, etc?
Must have solid Excel skills... If low to medium scores, we would not consider them... VLookup, Xlookup even better, folder concept creating folders moving Files between MS Explorer, being able to search for a folder.

Is a BA degree a must have? Yes, BA is a minimal requirement. Finance, Accounting, IT, Business Administration -degree related to finance;no graphic artists, English majors, creative anything... Must be something related.
