Position Overview:
The Services Finance Manager will play a key role in bridging the gap between services leadership, service operations and financial management. This dynamic position is responsible for overseeing financial management processes to ensure service operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and forecasting to support data-driven decision-making and optimize service delivery profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for service operations, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability by implementing cost-saving measures.
- Forecasting: Lead the development of financial forecasts for service operations, leveraging data analytics to predict revenue trends, resource needs, and budget allocations.
- Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both service operations and financial metrics, creating detailed reports to inform leadership of progress and areas for improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align service operations with the company’s strategic objectives, incorporating financial forecasts and operational capacity.
- Cost Management: Evaluate and optimize service delivery costs to maximize profit margins without compromising quality.
- Revenue Management: Partner with services leadership to create pricing strategies and ensure accurate revenue recognition for service projects.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee resource management, including staff scheduling and project prioritization, ensuring alignment with budget constraints and operational needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, services, and other departments to coordinate on service initiatives, aligning financial strategies with business development.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed operational and financial reports, providing insights into service performance and financial health.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that service operations comply with financial regulations and company policies, proactively managing financial and operational risks.
- Invoicing: Oversee project setup through invoicing to include tracking revenue deferrals and accruals.
