TPG Platform Finance
TPG’s Platform Finance group is a unique middle office team that serves as a key liaison between the front and back office. The team interacts with a wide range of internal stakeholders including executives, deal teams, legal, treasury, capital markets, accounting, tax and others.
Description of Position
The Platform Finance Sr. Associate is responsible for managing third-party valuation firm reviews and audits for TPG’s new semi liquid private equity product, launching in 2025. The Sr. Associate will also assist with managing finance workstreams (e.g., cashflow and working capital projections).
Responsibilities
• Participate in the overall evolution and development of leading practices for TPG’s TPOP valuation process
• Coordinate valuation reviews by third-party valuation firm and external auditors
• Review and coordinate investment summaries, investor reporting, Valuation Committee summary reporting
• Handle ad hoc requests, proactively monitor current business, industry and economic developments that may impact portfolio company performance and valuations
• Work with deal teams on all components of investment funding, including funds flows, cash sourcing, vendor payments, tax structure, FX, and share custody
• Plan and manage cash levels across fund structures
• Perform ad hoc analysis for the platform deal Partners and VPs
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3-6 years of experience at a “Big 4” firm or similar firm
• Experience with financial statements, capital markets, security types, and valuation methodologies
• Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with Excel
• Strong process/project management skills and the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders

It is expected that the annual base salary for this role will be up to $145-165,000. Base salary is one component of TPG’s competitive total rewards package which typically includes discretionary compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. Other incentives may also be available to certain eligible employees.
