About the Job
Location: This is an onsite role at our GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA. While GP offers some remote work flexibility, there is a need for multiple days/weekly in-office presence for this role given the importance of fostering relationships and collaborating with individuals across the company. We are seeking local applicants, or candidates that are willing to relocate to the area.
The Team: The larger GP Finance & Accounting organization is made up of individuals that provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA. The Finance Data Product Manager reports to the Director of Financial Systems.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and reporting impacts. Manage the intake, prioritization, and execution of reporting requests, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Product Ownership and Development: Oversee the lifecycle of data products developed using platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI. Ensure proper documentation, continuous improvement, and training for data products, collaborating with IT for maintenance and enhancements.
- Data Management and Governance: Lead efforts in data quality management, including proactive reviews and anomaly detection. Implement data governance programs across platforms, ensuring compliance with established rules and standards.
- Change Management and Process Improvement: Drive change management initiatives related to reporting demand intake, implementation, and transformation. Maintain a priority list for FP&A teams, ensuring alignment with business leader priorities and justifying IT investments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Career experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis roles, preferably in a large and complex organization.
- Confident communication and people skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and across various levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with and leading internal partners to improve processes, problem solve, and the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Leadership, supervision, talent development, or mentorship of a team of others.
- Strong data literacy skills, with the ability to find, access, understand, analyze, and communicate data effectively.
What Will Put You Ahead
- A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field.
- Professional certification in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience with leading or managing financial reporting projects, such as system upgrades, data migrations, report standardization, etc.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, policies, and best practices, and the ability to apply them to complex financial scenarios.
- Experience with data visualization and storytelling and the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
