Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Field Service Technician onsite in Roseville, MN.

Responsibilities:

The Field Service Technician will work onsite for a medical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, diagnosing hardware, network, and software faults, and solving technical and applications problems. This role requires a strong technical background combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure maximum uptime and reliability for our computing environment.

 

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, network, and software systems.
• Respond to IT issues, including hardware maintenance, software, server, networking, etc.
• Provide technical support across the company and for clients.
• Help create technical documentation and manuals.
• Conduct regular system audits and run diagnostic tests to resolve problems.
• Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting when necessary.
• Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
• Manage technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems with a minimum of five (5) years proven experience and training in all facets of information technology in a similar setting.
• Ability to meet all hiring requirements, including passage of a drug test and background check.
• Advanced level of expertise/training with Microsoft Products and related software and hardware programs used by the department.
• Thorough knowledge of information and technology systems and operations, related system features and integration capabilities, and ability to apply such knowledge to a variety of interrelated tasks.
• Working knowledge of network, telecommunication, software, and computer equipment and ability to develop new technology designs, install, and evaluate performance.
