We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Field Operations Controller to join our team in the Commercial Flooring industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of field operations. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including managing field labor schedules, coordinating shop drawing and pre-construction meetings, conducting safety meetings, and transmitting completed purchase orders. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage field labor schedules ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
- Assist the HR Department in recruiting and interviewing potential field employees, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
- Manage Field Employee New Hire Paperwork, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate Shop Drawing and Pre-Construction meetings, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and prepared.
- Conduct safety meetings, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring all staff are aware of and comply with safety regulations.
- Transmit completed purchase orders, ensuring all orders are accurately recorded and processed.
- Oversee the scheduling of field work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, 1-3 years of relevant experience, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing field labor schedules, coordinating shop drawing and pre-construction meetings, and conducting safety meetings.
- Experience in assisting HR Department in recruiting and interviewing potential field employees.
- Proficient in managing Field Employee New Hire Paperwork.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations within the Manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
