We are seeking an Field Human Resources Specialist to contribute to the success of the Human Resources Department by providing onsite assistance to various Rusnak Campuses with the day-to-day operations of New Hire Onboarding program, Worker’s Compensation program, Companywide training programs, Safety/Compliance program, Leave Administration program, and Coordination of Companywide HR events.

Compensation will be based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities
Effectively and Efficiently Manages the Company’s Onboarding Program and Worker’s Compensation Program and Leave Administration Program at off-site locations; Ensuring legal compliance and accuracy.Works closely with HR Corporate Recruitment team to coordinate New Hire processing.
- Manages the New Hire Process; conducts new hire orientations, reviews New Hire Packet forms and ensure all new hires have a complete and accurate signed pay plan, wage order and offer letter, and any other required documentation.
- Maintains compliance of tax forms requested by state and federal departments, including but not limited to I-9’s/E-Verify electronic reporting and W-4’s
- Manages recordkeeping for candidates at the location; ensures files are accurately filed and stored in compliance with the law and Company Regulations, policies and procedures
- Works closely with HR Generalist to administer the Worker’s Compensation program to ensure compliance at all locations
- Collects information from appropriate sources (i.e., employee, supervisor, manager, and similar)
- Serves as point of contact or LOA inquires, administration, and follow up; promptly investigates discrepancies and provides guidance in non-routine situations
- Ensures Compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures, local, State and Federal regulations; confirms timeliness and accuracy of required follow-up.
Provides Effective Project Support for Companywide Training programs, Safety/Compliance programs, and Companywide HR yearly events;
- Works closely with Executive Director of Human Resources and Payroll to provide support for Safety/Compliance programs, including systems updates, program assistance, and yearly compliance reporting
- Actively engages with HR Team to collaborate/plan Companywide Training programs
- Coordinate/execute all trainings and yearly events at off site locations and generates all related materials
- Collaborates with Corporate HR Manager for various compensation, leadership, and policy projects
Qualifications
- Required: Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent of 4 years’ experience in same/similar position.
- Desired: Certification in PHR or SPHR and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) professional designations or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong or Good verbal and written communication skills
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
