SENIOR FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER – WEB DEVELOPMENT
The Fidelity Wealth Solutions Engineering organization is looking for a senior full stack software engineer to help to build new web experiences that provide personalized financial planning, advice, and investment services for our customers. The Team

The Wealth Solutions Engineering organization is part of Fidelity Wealth business unit and is responsible for a variety of products and services aimed at helping customers to plan and manage their investments. Our focus is building self-directed or advisor-led, end-to-end solutions that push the bounds of financial and technical innovation and improve the financial lives of our customers. Our teams follow an agile process, moving quickly, solving difficult problems in new ways, and empowering everyone to have a voice in the direction of our products. Because we are passionate about building quality software, we invest heavily in automated testing, take code reviews­­­ seriously and prioritize refactoring.

 The Expertise You Have

• 6-9 years’ hands-on experience developing modern and responsive single-page web applications using Typescript stack like Angular (preferably Angular 12+).
• Comfortable integrating with backend REST APIs by building Experience APIs using NodeJS/NestJS based frameworks. Hands-on experience building GraphQL APIs is a huge plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Front-end Web Technologies such as JavaScript ES6, HTML 5 & CSS 3.
• Experience writing automated tests as part of development e.g. Jest and Cyprus.
• Bonus points for AWS / Public Cloud experience.

The Value You Deliver

• Developing features for our web experiences using GraphQL/NestJS and Angular in NX MonoRepo.
• Taking stories from idea to implementation including work estimation, collaboration with our product team, development, testing, code review and deployment.
• Actively collaborating with the other engineers on the squad through code reviews, pair programming, interactive design sessions and team retrospectives.
• Developing automated tests using Jest and Cypress.
• Working with our user experience design and product team to ensure we are building the right features based on scope and customer value.
• Contributing back to the team by developing solutions that help improve developer efficiency and sharing knowledge about new techniques and technologies

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office. 

The Hourly Pay Rate out of Boston, MA for this position is 75-90/hr based off experience.
