PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary duties. Position reports to and works with the Vice President of Industrial Sales. This is a national position and would be focused on all territories.
Position Overview:
As a Product Manager you will evaluate Industrial applications, provide product solutions, and strive to foster a strong relationship with our Vendor Partners. Must have industry knowledge of tightening and fastening products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical and sales support in the industrial engineering industry
· Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new accounts
· Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year
· Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications
· Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market
· Provide training to sales staff relative to applications and products
· Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
· Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-5 years Industrial Engineering industry experience minimum
Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must be Knowledgeable with fully automated and semi-automated Tightening systems prefer Bosh Rexroth will consider competitors Atlas Copco, Cleco, Desoutter, Ingersol Rand, Stanley, ETC.
- Must be familiar with organizing system solutions, Torque reaction deices, Smart Arms, Worker Guidance, Mechanical assembly stations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience determining solution for multiple tool and single tool systems.
- Experience in high volume multi-station production lines. To include some of the following target markets. Automotive, Aerospace, Farm implements, Specialty vehicles, small appliances, Trailer manufacturing, furniture and medical, Heavy-duty construction, Light duty construction, Scooters, Bicycles, Motorcycles. Home and commercial lawn equipment.
- Experience with programing safety tightening strategies. Torque, Angle. Time, Yield, Gradient, ETC.
- Capable of assisting customer with mechanical and electrical integration aspects of implement tightening system, Multiple Fieldbus, Data acquisition,
- Understanding of Safety and function critical joining as well as non-safety joining. Sensor feedback verses Clutch tools
- Ability to perform formal training sessions at customer locations.
- Preform live demo on customer site.
- Lunch and learn sessions.
- Strong understanding of the tightening industry,
- Working relationship with Integrators, line builders,

- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting of items such as a laptop computer, printers, servers, paper, books, and small parts; driving an automobile, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to general office environment. Overnight travel may be required, but seldom; work outside normal business hours is required from time to time.

Womack Group is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position can be based out of any of our offices.
