Job Details
We are seeking a Paralegal to join our 70+ firm of prestigious Family Law Experts!!!
Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document production and interrogatories.
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Schedule appointments, court appearances, and meetings for attorneys.
Prepare trial exhibits and assist attorneys during trial proceedings.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred
Minimum of 2-5 years+ of experience as a family law paralegal
Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legal terminology.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
