About the Job
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support and maintenance of the Office of Faculty Affairs & Strategic Planning (OFASP) database ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Manage Annual Feedback Program for full-time, part-time, and voluntary faculty.
- Monitor and coordinate new faculty appointments with departments. (OFASP will notify directors of teaching faculty without an appointment.)
- Collaborate w/Sr Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Director of Faculty Resources, Office of Medical Education to create processes for feedback.
- Manage communications with faculty re Feedback Program for full-time faculty.
- Monitor completion of faculty feedback program and provide reports to leadership.
- Send reminders to faculty and chairs re: status of completion.
- Create reports as requested by departments and senior leadership.
- Respond to questions and issues from chairs and faculty about OFASP programs/initiatives.
- Coordinate with senior leadership, department chairs, administrators to ensure documentation is received timely.
- Provide staff coverage for Office of Academic Appointments, as needed.
- Managing updates on OFASP website.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field (or equivalent skills and experience). Minimum of 0 – 2 years’ experience. Experience within a higher education institution is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to integrate continuous review and improvement to processes to meet the goals of the organization and deliver excellent and responsive service;
- Advanced proficiency in database applications;
- Strong analytical and attention to detail is required;
- Most possess strong communication and organizational skills;
- Model a positive attitude and take initiative as a self-starter.
