The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a new Facilities Manager who has a specialty in electrical management.
The primary position focus involves supervising the Facilities Maintenance Team responsibilities for building electrical systems supply and control including building lighting. Also responsible for Life/Safety systems as well as all the entry/exit systems in the building including X-ray machines.

Responsibilities:
- This team also maintains a fleet of Bank vehicles and is the primary support for the Cash department AGV’s.
- The Maintenance team also handles miscellaneous repairs and metal fabrication and coordinates hazardous waste disposal.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of Facilities Management Department staff to ensure optimal day-to-day operating objectives are met, while longer-term projects are attained.
- Provide work direction, mentoring, and leadership to staff.
- Coach and develop staff by communicating performance expectations, providing ongoing performance feedback, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring training and development plans and programs are implemented to address individual and team needs.
Focus areas include:
- Building Engineering/Mechanical; Maintenance/Electrical; Construction Services; and Administrative Services.
- Defined team activities include: repair and preventive maintenance of building and utility systems; building equipment, including HVAC, kitchen equipment, fire suppression and fire alarm systems, electrical (i..e.., lighting, switchgear, generators, UPS), and mechanical and plumbing systems; Building Automation System (BAS)
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education of vocational school with coursework in electrical, electronics, mechanical, HVAC, construction or similar skilled trades.
- Seven years of facilities, supervisory, and/or project management experience required.
- Basic knowledge and skill to read and interpret drawings and specifications as required for implementing repairs and to facilitate changes. Knowledge and skill in using AutoCAD software.
- Current Minnesota Master Electrician or Electrical PE license is preferred for Maintenance/Electrical position (Maintenance Electrician license is minimum requirement); Certified Energy Manager or LEED accreditation is preferred for the Building Engineer/Mechanical position.
- Certified Project Manager accreditation is a plus.
Additional Information
Salary range is $94,800-$118,492-$142,200. Salary offerwill be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
