Volt is immediately hiring a Facilities Safety Coordinator in Van Nuys, Ca.
As a Facilities Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace for one of the largest event companies in Southern California. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct inspections, and implement policies that promote a culture of safety throughout seven warehouse facilities.
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Compensation: $20-27/Hr. (Willing to offer higher compensation for candidates with additional skills, experience, and qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of relative experience
- Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) - Preferred
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of recent laws and OSHA regulations (OSHA 10, OSHA 30)
- Flexibility to work OT and occasional Saturdays as required
- Conduct facility safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain OSHA logs and track workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Assess safety risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Create and implement injury prevention programs.
- Facilitate safety training sessions for employees.
- Lead investigations of workplace accidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and compliance audits.
- Conduct facility visits to assess safety practices and provide support.
- Support safety initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
