The Facilities Project Manager will report to the Director of Commercial Real Estate and Facilities Management. The Corporate Real Estate Facilities (CREF) Department manages the full lifecycle of activities for all National Bank of Arizona's corporate real estate and facilities: property acquisition & disposal, capital improvements, maintenance & repair, facilities services (janitorial, landscaping, pest control), space planning, telecommunications, lease management, and facilities budgeting (capital improvements and occupancy expense). CREF manages the Bank's furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) including Bank-owned artwork, and also leads the Bank's corporate aesthetics and signage program. CREF participates extensively in the development and implementation of the Bank's branch location strategy. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Responsible for tracking costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
- Coordinates communication with the areas that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Designs, implements, evaluates and audits project management processes and templates.
- May work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure project completion.
- Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related degree and 4+ years' experience in project management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and changes management practices and techniques or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Extensive knowledge of project management, including scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management.
- Experience in solution identification and assessment, vendor selection, and creation of business and financial case.
- Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
- Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budgeted costs.
- Knowledge of departmental specific processes, computer applications or other project related knowledge.
- Knowledge of asset management, space planning, building systems, contracts, compliance permits and legal agreements a PLUS!
