Summary
Location
This position will be located in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR out of one of our production facilities. To best support the organization, this position will primarily work on site. Occasional travel required between cities required.
Salary
$112,000 full-time annual equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• 7 or more years’ progressive experience and responsibility in facilities property maintenance responsibility to include operational support, property claims administration, and capital planning, and contract administration required
• 7 or more years’ experience managing industrial equipment maintenance programs including parts inventory management and installation project management required
• 5 or more years’ experience managing a department, including direct responsibility for developing managers and senior contributors required
• Working knowledge of building systems, design, construction practices, project management, municipal and county permitting, and budgeting required
• Experience using construction blueprints for diagnostic and decision-making purposes required
• Multi-site experience required; food production facility management experience strongly preferred
• Intermediate computer skills including use of MS Office or comparable programs required
• Experience using a maintenance management system as a management tool for analytics, documentation, and forecasting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills required
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations impacting facilities management, food safety, and people safety
• HACCP, PCQI, or other food safety program experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English required; English/Spanish bilingual preferred
• Due to this position being located in a food production facility, this position is required to maintain a valid Food Handler's Card.
