TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Tech

SHIFT: M-F 7:30am – 4pm
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Tech. This role involves a range of support tasks to aid in the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing shop, along with performing minor maintenance work as required.

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Tech. This role involves a range of support tasks to aid in the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing shop, along with performing minor maintenance work as required.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the facility is clean and orderly by completing tasks including:
- Organizing and managing the hose storage area.
- Regularly using the floor sweeper to keep the plant floor clean.
- Addressing any plumbing overflows with a vacuum and rectifying clogged fixtures.
- Disposing of garbage into external dumpsters.
- Execute daily inspections of forklifts, manage battery water levels, and maintain inspection records.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment like the wash and paint booths, safety gear, and other building systems.
- Undertake other assigned tasks as necessary.
- Refresh and maintain the visibility of floor lines as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or general labor within a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Proven understanding of electrical and plumbing basics.
- Capable of operating forklifts and handling other material-moving tools.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical inclination with a keen interest in learning.
- Knowledgeable in utilizing both hand and power tools.
