Overview:

We are seeking an experienced NY Licensed Banking and Finance Attorney with over ten years of experience representing both borrowers and lenders in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney to work on sophisticated financing deals, contributing to a respected practice with a history of service to the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

Represent borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured financing transactions

Negotiate, structure, and document a variety of financing deals, including:

Commercial mortgage transactions

Acquisition financings

Asset-based financings

Senior, mezzanine, and subordinated debt transactions

Cross-border financings

Opinion letters

Advise on a range of financing projects, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with client goals

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in banking and finance law

Expertise in representing borrowers and lenders in commercial lending transactions

Experience with secured and unsecured financing, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, and cross-border transactions

Strong negotiation, structuring, and documentation skills

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of commercial mortgage transactions, senior, mezzanine, and subordinated debt

Familiarity with opinion letters and cross-border financings

Compensation:

Salary range: $175,000 - $300,000, depending on experience and skill level
