FACILITIES SHIFT SUPERVISOR - Boyd Gaming

What would I be doing?:

To ensure all types of facility maintenance and construction are performed in a
safe, timely and cost efficient manner for all dockside facilities

Responsibilities:

• To provide primary and specialized support for all mechanical equipment, related systems (i.e. HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, restaurant, plumbing, structural, etc.), and all general building/facilities both interior and exterior (i.e. carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.) through delegation of responsibilities to the crew and personal hands-on performance.
• Conduct and review periodic employee performance appraisals and conduct regular coaching sessions.
• Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards. 

What are we looking for?:

• Must be skilled in the use of all hand and power tools related to facility based maintenance.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry fields.
• Must be skilled with proper application and use of common and job related special tools and test equipment. 
• Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented. 
• High school diploma/GED with a minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience in facility based maintenance.
• Degree related to facility engineering, local municipal license and/or multiple certificates in various crafts preferred.
• Must have valid Missouri/Kansas driver’s license
