Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns
- Tax planning and research
- Manage multiple client assignments
- Build relationships with clients
- Correspond with client and supervisors on work status and inquiries
- Support Senior Tax Accountants, Managers, and Partners
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience working in public accounting within tax department
- BA Degree in Accounting required with a GPA greater than 3.0
- Internship experience working in tax department of public accounting preferred
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Solid computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Organizational skills and ability to provide an accurate and detailed work product
- Able to meet strict deadlines and be a reliable, dedicated, and effective team member
- Able to interact with clients and associates in a respectful manner at a professional level
- Will uphold necessary level of technical knowledge and stay current on tax and accounting updates
- Desire to learn and grow your professional skills in preparation for the CPA exam
Base Salary: 65,000 bonuses
