Key Responsibilities:
- Press Setup & Operation: Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality flexible packaging materials. Ensure proper anilox roll selection, color matching, and ink viscosity.
- Quality Control: Work closely with the quality team to verify print quality, registration, color consistency, and material dimensions. Ensure the final product meets customer specifications.
- Production Monitoring: Oversee the entire print run, monitoring key factors such as web width, edge position, and overall print quality. Adjust as needed to maintain top quality throughout the run.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting on press equipment, identify any issues, and take action to resolve problems quickly. Maintain a clean and organized press area.
- Documentation: Accurately document production runs, including material usage, downtime, and any technical issues. Retain samples for quality assurance purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with prepress, quality control, and other team members to ensure smooth production and job completion.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area, ensuring the press equipment is well-maintained and operational.

- Experience: Prior experience as a Flexographic Printing Press Operator or in a related role is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of flexographic printing processes, including anilox roll selection, color matching, and press setup.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control and the ability to identify and resolve issues with color consistency, registration, and print defects.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on printing presses.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift materials, and work in a fast-paced environment.
