Job Description
Seeking an experienced support representative that has technical aptitude paired with the skills of a customer service professional. This full-time position will work in our Customer Support team in the Chicago suburban area office. (This is an on-site role, in Glendale Heights.) The Customer Support team is responsible for customer service, order entry, administrative functions, operations, quality, and technical support. Because we are a small US based team in a fast-growing company, everyone’s role is dynamic, and we bring our talents together to get the job done. We are looking for a new teammate that can adapt in situations and be guided by strong business principles and ethics.
This candidate will report directly to the Customer Support Manager. Timely and accurate use of the existing CRM and ERP system is critical. .
Profile
Duties of a Technical Support Representative:
- Perform general tasks included in daily office work.
- Utilize the Microsoft Dynamincs and the Office suite of products. (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
- Participate in product and job training provided by Locinox.
- Answer incoming calls for ordering, administrative questions, and technical support.
- Enter sales orders, quotes, and process payments.
- Understand the customer mix and work with Sales to funnel leads.
- Articulate the Locinox product mix & give recommendations based on sound judgement.
- Optimize and utilize our standard operation procedures.
- Collaborate on technical support projects.
- Make decisions that reflect an understanding of, and align with, the complete order cycle.
- Additional duties will be assigned as they arise.
The right candidate will ideally have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to learn and retain technical information quickly.
- A willingness to work individually and in teams as needed.
- Agility in changing roles as we are a rapidly growing business unit.
- Project management/organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office; CRM, etc.
- Understand the importance and responsibility of a customer facing role.
- A desire to learn the company culture, join in and add value.

- College or technical education is desirable, or equivalent in experience.
