SUMMARY
Come help us support the Supply Chain that builds Rockets! We are looking for high energy individual with exceptional attention to detail. The Supplier Development Specialist position provides critical support to the Firefly R&D Teams. Come be a true contributor and make a difference.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Supply Chain/Operations efforts as needed.
- Act as liaison between Supply Chain and Operations.
- Attend status meetings, report on deliveries and escalate issue to buyers.
- Support the expediting of hot/critical shipments by following up with suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders and providing status.
- Support hot/overnight shipments by directing them to CP1 and transporting them to the proper location for receipt and processing.
- Send out Open PO reports and update Odoo/Buyer with status.
- Assist in order acknowledgement and update Odoo.
- Own and manage supplier set-up activities and maintenance.
- Review and Maintain supplier contact cards to comply with AS9100 requirements. (certs, NDAs, contact information, etc.)
- Follow Corporate Procurement Practices and Procedures when making decisions concerning negotiating, sourcing, contracting, and receiving/managing shipments for goods and services purchased for the company.
- Drive schedule recovery and corrective action.
- Review business aspects of requisition and provide advice as subject matter expert.
- Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 1-3 years min. work experience

- MS Office (including Excel, Word & Outlook)

- Physical stamina to perform regular duties, including
- Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds
- Stand for long periods of time
- Crouch, bend, and reach
