Executive Medical Director - Vice President, Clinical Development - Meet

Meet is currently partnered with a Clinical-Stage Biotech Company that has an opening for a VP Medical Director to lead their Immuno-Oncology department. This would be with a small-close knit team, allowing for great career advancement with opportunity to be cross-functional to work on projects you prefer.

Job Responsibilities

• Executing and delivering of the clinical development plan while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Accountable for developing drugs effectively and safely as well as being accountable for study medical/safety aspects and risk assessments.
• Interpret and Assess medical data to identify possible data integrity issues and patient safety alongside acting as the main contact for study/patient safety aspect.
• Protocol responsibility and responsibility to perform the protocol review.
• Responsibility to act within advisory boards and to act as senior management.
• Supervising /mentoring multiple studies.

Job Qualifications

• An MD is required.
• 5+ years of experience and a successful track record in clinical drug development in Immunology or Oncology
• Early phase is preferred but not required.
• Expertise within issues related to trial design and performance of Immunology clinical trials.
• Knowledge in the scientific and mechanistic aspects within drug development.
• Familiarity of FDA guidelines, policies, and laws.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortability in working in matrix environment.
• Proven leadership skills as an individual contributor or team leader.
