Position Responsibilities:
- Robust Planning Processes Development:
- Develop and implement innovative planning processes and tools for API, DP, FG, and inventory storage strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing planning methodologies to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Driving Clinical and Commercial Demand Planning:
- Actively support the clinical and commercial forecast process to ensure demand planning output establishes robust supply
- Establish strategic inventories across API, DP, FG Supply Chain segments
- Collaboration with Supply Organization:
- Collaborate with the Supply organization to ensure seamless alignment between demand and supply plans.
- Engage in proactive communication to balance inventory levels and address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Global Supply Chain Strategy Leadership:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Global Supply Chain strategy that integrates cross-functional and enterprise inputs.
- Align supply chain initiatives with corporate goals and objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration across departments.
- S&OP Process Discipline:
- Ensure adherence to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, promoting accountability and transparency in decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in S&OP practices to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
- Support Budget Process:
- Actively participate in the annual budget process, ensuring alignment of financial resources with strategic initiatives and operational needs.
- Collaborate with finance and departmental leaders to optimize budget allocations and track performance against financial targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, planning, or strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing global planning strategies and processes tailored to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, inventory management, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical environment.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in data analysis and tools that support demand and supply planning initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive strategic initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
