Steiner Studios is a state-of-the-art film and television production facility in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. At full buildout, the Lot will be over 1.6 million square feet on 60 acres.

Job Description
Steiner Studios/Steiner NYC is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide a broad range of administrative support to the CEO, as well as provide hands-on office support to the entire staff in a fast-paced environment. This person must be extremely detail-oriented, a team player and able to prioritize work under deadline pressure. The candidate must exercise initiative, be highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document preparation, including letters, leases, proposals and legal agreements
- Create corresponding files and follow the existing document tracking process
- Manage high volume departmental physical and digital filing systems
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the CEO and the entire staff
- Maintain the CEO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, teleconferences, and travel agendas. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
- Handle confidential documents and email correspondence with discretion and timeliness
- Help organize in-office events and meetings, including management of conference rooms, food orders, and greeting guests
- Assist with special projects (i.e. research, event planning, merchandise management)
- General administrative duties (i.e. answering/transferring phone calls, copying, filing, and mailings)
- Additional ad-hoc requests as needed
- Proactively provide input for ways to improve structures and efficiencies
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an office
- Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Workshare Compare, a plus
- Sweats the small stuff, strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional ability to organize work and tasks, and excellent follow-through
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and execute effectively against multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of staff within the company
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise sound judgment
- Demonstrated passion for learning new things and continuous improvement
- Ability to work overtime when needed
This position is in-person in a professional office environment.

Compensation
Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000/year
This range represents anticipated starting salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits. We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.
