Title and Summary Executive Assistant The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Senior Vice President and the San Francisco-based team. They will help to set the tone for the team, and so a high energy, creative, outgoing “people person” with strong trust is desired. The role includes performing general administrative duties such as telephone coverage, scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, copying, ordering supplies, and maintaining department records including the departmental budget and contract administration support. Role • Responsible for all administrative and operational activities, which includes, but is not limited to scheduling complex in-person meetings and conference calls across time zones, global travel arrangements confirming visa and other travel requirements, project management support, expense reporting, and managing supplies • Develops and/or preparing correspondence; reports, presentations or other key communication materials for the team; may research special topics as needed • Manages internal and external inquiries by screening calls, answering questions, and redirecting to appropriate personnel • Coordinates logistics for more complex meetings/activities, i.e., internal and external meetings including various business events and handling ad hoc projects where assigned. • Handles inbound requests, which may include initial contact/screening of inbound event speaking, media and press requests and support at communication events, speaking engagements, media outreach and press conferences • Uses discretion and care on a regular basis when working with sensitive/confidential data pertaining to the department or Mastercard • Works as a team with other Executive Assistants in Mastercard to ensure alignment and operational coverage, serving as an administrative liaison with others inside and outside of the company All About You • Professional presence, excellent relationship management skills, self-motivated and effectively works with others at all levels of the organization including senior leaders, executive management and external clients • Must have a solid track record of executive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with senior and executive level management and customers • Strong decision-making, ability to act autonomously and creatively solve problems with a sense of urgency • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills • Ability to work collaboratively, managing time and multiple commitments to deliver results in a highly cross-functional, fast-paced environment • Intellectually curious and passionate about learning new things and taking on varied assignments, such as helping us to roll out new innovation programs, contributing to the coordination of hackathons and/or being an innovation evangelist • Demonstrate confidentiality, good business judgment and diplomacy when involved in high-level contact with internal/external stakeholders and exposed to sensitive information • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient in Outlook and Oracle Financials • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred 72,500 - 113,000 USD Annual Mastercard is an inclusive equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
