Job Description:
The Addictions Treatment Services division with Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services (BILHBS) consists of a variety of residential programs and detox facilities that serve individuals who seek recovery from addiction and mental health issues. All clients are treated with dignity, respect, and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow when they are provided support, education and direction.
The Receptionist position is a unique opportunity for a customer service focused individual who wants to make a difference in the addiction treatment field by ensuring seamless access to services and acting as the first impression of the organization.

+ Schedule: Full Time (30 Hours) - Friday: 3p-10:30p, Saturday: 7a-10:30p, Sunday: 3p-10:30p
The Receptionist’s Responsibilities Are:
+ Answers switchboard, directing calls and taking messages as appropriate
+ Process Notice of Admissions Arrivals and obtain authorizations from a variety of insurance carriers and complete disenrollment’s of clients from treatment.
+ Completes Post Discharge Contact Calls to clients with follow up from treatment.
+ Greets visitors and notifies appropriate staff of their arrival.
+ Notifies manager or nurse on duty of any issues or emergencies in the waiting area.
+ Responsible for handling clients’ drop offs from friends and family members following proper procedure.
+ Responsible for direct client care as needed
+ Additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
+ A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a related field is preferred.
+ Experience with Excel, Word, and electronic health records preferred.
