Job Summary:
The Evening Hours Caregiver at Senior Helpers - South OC is responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to seniors in the San Juan Capistrano area. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and trustworthy caregivers, whether it's your first-time providing care or been a caregiver for years! There is flexibility for both full-time and part-time hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, as well as experience in caregiving or a similar field. Looking for companions as well as experienced caregivers!
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a position with a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $23, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to seniors in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing/ grooming, etc.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary and nutritional requirements are met
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and tidying up common areas
- Engage in meaningful social interactions and activities with clients, promoting mental and emotional well-being
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as collaborate with other care team members
- Maintain accurate records of care and report any concerns or incidents to a supervisor
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal healthcare regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ideally, 1 year of experience in caregiving or a similar field. However, no previous experience is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
