Commercial Construction Estimator

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000

Estimator Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for producing detailed estimates.
• Assess labor, materials, and equipment requirements to create comprehensive bids.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on costs and materials to provide competitive and accurate estimates.
• Prepare and present estimates and proposals to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
• Track and manage changes to the scope of work, highlighting the implications on budget and scheduling.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and project budgets for future reference and analysis.

Estimator Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry, with a strong background in a variety of project types.
• Expertise in construction methodologies, materials, and cost factors related to commercial projects.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various teams.
• Proficient in utilizing estimating software and construction management tools.
• Familiar with current market trends and building codes relevant to commercial construction.
