Position Overview

Duties:
 

• Estimate and manage the specifics of the project, including purchases, subcontracting, changes, and coordination of office/field activities during the construction
• Accurate estimating of projects assigned.
• Purchasing materials and subcontracts economically and expeditiously for projects assigned.
• Efficient coordination of field and office activities on assigned projects, including job scheduling activities.
• Company liaison with Owner, Architect, and Engineer.

Requirements:
 

• Extensive knowledge/background in the construction industry, with the following scopes of work: Glazing, restoration, waterproofing, costing
• Experience estimating the type of jobs
• Able to make accurate quantity surveys and to estimate cost of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor's work, while certain that all areas have been accounted for prior to submitting estimate for review.
