Estimator - Workrise

Location: Deer Park, Texas (onsite)

Job duties:

• The Estimator SME will be involved in the project, ideally during the Identification Phase, before the initiation of the estimate activities.
• The Estimator will be required to develop an estimate plan that outlines methodology, cost basis, quantity basis, assumptions, market input, and reporting.
• The Estimator Will be required to lead the estimate development process with inputs from the various stakeholders
• Estimator will be the focal point for market input received by the project team during the development process. The goal is to review the competitiveness of the cost estimates. The market input shall align with the estimate plan.
• The Estimator will utilize the Cleopatra tool to grow the company database/benchmarking capabilities
• The Estimator will have Quantity Surveying capabilities that will include
• Field activities to ensure that materials are installed as per bill of quantities;
• Preparation and summaries of all measured works, if required;
• Maintaining a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations, etc.
• Preparing take offs from drawings and compare with site measurements;
• Reconciliation of materials and works executed periodically;
• Review invoices and reports from Contractor(s) and subcontractor(s);
• Participation in review of claims and support Contract Manager and Project Manager in the preparation of a negotiation
