Estimator (Asphalt Paving)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Asphalt Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating both small new asphalt paving projects and asphalt maintenance services. The role will involve analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and presenting proposals to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for small new asphalt paving projects and asphalt maintenance services (e.g., repairs, sealcoating, crack filling).
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
• Prepare detailed proposals and deliver them to clients in a timely manner.
• Work closely with project managers and crews to ensure estimates are aligned with project needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Support business development efforts through outside sales activities, including networking and prospecting new business opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in asphalt estimating or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt paving and maintenance services.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Previous experience in outside sales or business development is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously.
