Responsibilities:
As an Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:
1. Provide comprehensive legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
2. Draft, review and revise a wide range of legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
3. Represent clients in probate and trust administration proceedings.
4. Collaborate with tax professionals to develop tax-efficient estate plans.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with the latest laws and regulations.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with regular updates and maintaining strong professional relationships.
7. Work collaboratively with the rest of the legal team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
4. Extensive knowledge of estate, trust, and tax law.
5. Exceptional drafting skills, with the ability to create clear and effective legal documents.
6. Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
8. A proactive and organized approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
