About the Job
- Seeking ~2+ years of practice experience in Estate Planning. Estate planning & Administration, trusts, probate, guardianships/conservatorships
- Most of their recent hires are a bit more ‘green’ so need someone confident in running their own desk
- Role is open because they acquired a small Estate Planning practice recently and a Senior attorney is retiring within the next year. More than enough work to go around and keep someone busy
- Lots of support staff at the firm, would work alongside one other Estate Planning attorney
- No billable target, they allow attorneys to set their own schedules. As long as they’re onsite for client facetime and meeting requirements, no steadfast billable requirement.
- Firm prefers onsite work schedule. Ability to work from home with illnesses and emergencies that arise, but most of their attorneys like to work together onsite.
- Diverse and welcoming group that likes being involved in the community
- Lots of room for collaboration and assistance from other team members
- Partner track is based off a mix of originations and timekeeper data. Usually, on average, about 3 years of hitting production benchmarks allows Attorneys to grow into Partner role
- Interview process
- First round; meeting with Owner Group
- Second round; meet with whole team
- Benefits; standard Medical package, YMCA memberships, 401k contribution after 1 year of employment. Firm contributes 10%, no matching.
- 100-120k Base Salary, BOE. Bonuses based off a percentage of firmwide revenue after benchmarks are hit
- Lots of group activities (including family members); luncheons, nights out with families, firm breakfasts, etc
