We are looking for an experienced Escrow Officer responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Act as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, mortgage, accounting, and other areas within the Title & Escrow Process.
- Handling all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verifying accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreements.
- Obtaining signatures for closing transactions, explaining all documents executed as needed, and facilitating questions/answers between parties to the transaction.
- Following Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines which includes and is not limited to collection and disbursement of funds while complying with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes.
- Reviewing escrow quality assurance reports and resolving any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policy.
- Ensuring timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from the settlement team to the Recording and Accounting Departments.
- Must have extensive experience with Closing at the table.
- Escrow License by State/Federal Agencies.
- A Notary Public license is required.
