Our Equity Sales and trading Team provides individualized service to our institutional, corporate and issuing clients utilizing Wedbush’s award winning proprietary research and management access events. Our Sales & Trading desk is built to deliver superior information flow, ideas and best execution services to small, mid and large cap clients.
Seeking goal oriented, self-motivated salesperson in the New York area to work with and support other Salespeople, increase awareness of the Research product, manage current relationships and prospect new accounts. This is an incredible opportunity for a hungry and determined sales-minded individual to independently initiate, develop and foster new account relationships.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Heavily prospect, develop new and grow existing partnerships, and respond to client requests
- Identify new opportunities with existing clients
- Provide reports to Senior Sales and Management
- Generate write-ups/recaps and stock ideas
- Connect analysts with investors, and manage calendars
- Update contacts in CRM, including email distribution list
- Coordinate/host conference calls
- Assist with follow up of research calls and events
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Business Administration or related
- 1-2 years of Sales experience in Financial Services industry experience required
- Active Series 7 and 66 Licenses required
- Entrepreneurial skills with a proven track record of building new revenue streams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skills
- Must be proficient in using client contact database management systems
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
