WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
If you meet the following criteria, we want you as our Equipment Operator!
- Vocational training in blueprint reading, basic machining, and basic quality control
- 1+ years of vocational training or equivalent in machining
- Ability to appropriately respond to different situations
- Willingness to work within a group to achieve a common goal
- Ability to present information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner
DAY-TO-DAY
In this machinery role, you immerse yourself in the heart of manufacturing, where precision and craftsmanship meet. You use blueprints and bills of materials as your guiding tools to set up and operate different machining equipment. From manual grinders to lathes, you ensure that each product meets quality standards.
You utilize precision measuring devices like micrometers and calipers to maintain consistent high-quality output throughout the manufacturing process. When challenges arise, you troubleshoot issues and escalate them to leadership for guidance and resolution.
