Job DescriptionThe Equipment Coordinator will maintain laboratories (incl mobile), equipment, supplies and shipping requirements cross business lines for SGS Sulphur Experts Kemah TX location. This person will report directly to the SGS Sulphur Experts Regional Director (solid line) and Office Manager (dotted line). This person will also receive technical direction from senior lab staff.
- Prepare, organize field equipment for shipping, coordinate with logistics company to ship
- Maintain field equipment – including cleaning and general maintenance
- Maintain and coordinate supply chain for laboratory supplies – Calibration Gases, Chemicals, and Consumables and refills of SCBA
- Coordinate off-site field equipment repairs and maintenance
- Create shipping manifests, packing lists, and commercial invoices
- Assist/Manage the shipment of Dangerous Goods (training for certification will be provided)
- Assist/Manage MSDS’s for location, hazard labeling, chemical storage
- Arrange for 3rd party analytical testing of samples
- Assist with some internal lab testing parameters – To be defined
- Pick-up of supplies
- Delivery of field supplies (Cal Gases/DG) to Couriers
- Maintain company vehicles and mobile lab trailers
- Provide general support and assistance to senior personnel
- Complete personal time sheets and expense reports
- Miscellaneous additional tasks for that region as directed by the Regional Manager/Office Manager/Sr Lab staff
Responsibilities
- Maintain safety qualifications
- Maintain competency on all work procedures
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Works under direct supervision of the Regional Manager or appointed senior lab staff

Qualifications- Technician with laboratory equipment experience
- Working knowledge of various gas and liquid analysis systems
- Drivers licence (Class 5 or equivalent)
- Requirement to comply with the SGS Sulphur Experts Health and Safety Program and the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, incl Background check
