Position Overview
- Assist with Internal Safety & Environmental Audits.
- Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and draft procedures for the safe operation of production equipment.
- Conduct workplace environmental (light, noise, chemical) monitoring.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) inventory.
- Assist with environmental & safety compliance recordkeeping.
- Ensure production signage is up-to-date.
- Research safety and environmental best practices for internal adoption.
- May perform other duties as assigned by Quality Compliance Manager and Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.
Position Requirements
- Student enrolled full time or part-time at an accredited university or technical college. Some applicable degrees include Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, and Business Administration.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 but up to 40 hours per week.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
