We are looking for an Enterprise System Engineer for the integration project. It's important that this person demonstrate experience with Office 365 and Microsoft 365.
Role: Enterprise System Engineer
Start Date: late October/early November
End Date: 12 months long
Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office. 139th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA
Locals only , Airlines exp. highly highly preferred, must have excellent verbal skills
The Role:
The Endpoint Enterprise Systems Engineer is a subject matter expert for multiple endpoint technologies for Alaska Air Group (AAG) and its subsidiaries. As an individual contributor, this role defines long-term strategy for the Endpoint Platforms team and exercises considerable latitude and initiative to solve complex problems. They must demonstrate expert skills in Leadership, Project Management, Hardware/Software Architecture & Best Practice, Security & Compliance, and Enterprise Architectures.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert and enterprise technology thought leader on AAG platforms.
Act as a product owner for Microsoft 365 services and technologies – Define long-term roadmaps, make decisions on tactical needs of the technical team.
Define the long-term strategy (at least 12 months) for AAG platforms and their implementation.
Mentor application/system administrators on all elements of application administration, including technical, process, and documentation best practices. Additionally, serves as the point of escalation for other application administrators in the event of severe or critical issues impacting production operations.
Provides 24x7 on-call support for critical issues affecting applications/infrastructure.
Focused on continuous improvement in system reliability through automation and monitoring.
Lead cross divisional enterprise infrastructure projects related to Microsoft 365 services.
Collaborate directly with Enterprise Architecture and Security to develop and plan the platforms architecture and security strategies.
Lead vendor management to better understand future capabilities while advocating for features that are beneficial to Alaska.
Act as a forward thinker to help ensure that new capabilities are evaluated, implemented, and operationalized.
Bachelor's degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Technical engineering experience required.
Expert experience managing Microsoft 365 technologies and services (i.e. Azure AD, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, O365 Applications, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand objectives, gather automation requirements, write technical specifications, and perform in a lead role.
Demonstrate experience in coaching and mentoring system engineers.
Experience estimating effort and establishing timelines for projects.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with a variety of team members.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S

QUALIFICATIONS
7 years of experience in IT, or related area.Bachelor's degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
