Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We are looking for an Enterprise Operations Manager to provide leadership and direction for the operations support to our enterprise system. Utilizing your arsenal of skills and talents, you’ll manage all facets of operations of the enterprise system in accordance with the established management plans including Security, Quality, and Risk management. You’ll analyze operational processes, performance metrics, and identify opportunities for continuous improvements. You will be regularly engaging with program and customer leadership coordinating maintenance windows, reporting performance metrics in the Enterprise Performance Report, and responsible for clearcommunication regarding system impacting incidents/outages/recovery activities.

What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS:
The Enterprise Operations Manager responsibilities include overseeing operations support activities in accordance with established management plans (i.e., Risk, Quality, and Lifecycle), establishing performance metrics according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), deploying patches, updates, and upgrades; performing deployment readiness and packaging for all production installations; and documenting status and progress in the Enterprise Performance Report.
- Responsible for operational execution of multiple technical disciplines consisting of System Administrators (Windows and Linux), Storage Engineers, Network Engineers, Cybersecurity, and VOIP/VTC Engineers
- Responsible for ensuring system availability and uptime in line with customer specifications outlined in the PWS, this includes daily monitoring and assessment of enterprise availability, weekly calculation and dissemination of availability metrics, systematic issue triage and prioritization, and the development of process enhancements to drive efficiency.
- Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling the work backlog, including executing effective mitigation strategies while upholding national-level system security accreditation standards, incident response, and outage response as necessary within the enterprise system performance thresholds.
- Ability to proactively manage implementation of system improvements such as performance tuning, failure root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions to prevent future failures, and other tasks related to ensuring the system is operational and performing optimally
- Ability to work across functional teams to provide creative solutions and coordination with all internal and external teamsto provide operational support of all aspects of the enterprise.
- Responsbile for scheduling operational support of team to ensure availabilityof enterprise services Monday – Friday from 0700-1900 EST
- Monitor systems performance/metrics and communicating/elevating issues as necessary
- Experience with network/system monitoring/management tools such as ClearSwift, Splunk, and SolarWinds
- Experience with Linux enterprise environment (Red Hat, PitBull) with IPA and Ceph administration
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in utilization of ticketing systems for service tickets and system change requests (SCRs)
- Experience working within Change Control Boardguidance and approval processes
- Create, provide input, and review documentation to include standard operating procedures, system configuration and administration documents, security documents, and technical papers
- Create, coordinate, and assign tasks for project schedules as well as brief status to government officials and upper management
- Ensures all program deliverables (including documentation) are developed with high quality and delivered on time
- Ability to proactively identify issues and resolve and make suggestions for improvements to the environment, implement effective corrective actions as required
- Ability to articulate the steps, benefits, costs and outcomes of proposed solutions using sound judgment to choose among alternatives
- Utilizes skill set to help less experienced team members adapt
- Ability to manage disagreements in ways that preserve good relations and the open exploration of different alternatives
- Ability to demonstrate clarity and "out-of-the-box" thinking in analyzing problems that affect the team
- On case by case bases after-hoursscheduled maintenance work is required; as well after-hours support for customer affected issues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with ITSM and Agile (SAFe) work methodologies
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and practices
- Strong ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill needs
- May act as Hiring Manager – creating position descriptions and working with Talent Acquisition department to recruit, interview and hire staff
- Provide clear and timely performance feedback and recognize team member contributions
