About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems and electrical components, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The main responsibility of the Engineering Technician is to collect circuit board line rejects, troubleshoot them, and organize them by part number.
Engineering Technician Job Duties:
- Assemble and fabricate mechanical and electrical components according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and document warranty returns
- Organize and troubleshoot production line
- Set Up, Operate, Maintain and document test results of prototypes
- Assemble and test low volume production
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to build prototypes and production units..
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in existing systems and recommend solutions.
- Collect data during testing phases to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve product designs and manufacturing processes.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven Manufacturing/Engineering Experience
- Associates degree in Electronics or 2 years of relative experience
- Strong understanding of Excel
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in assembling complex systems.
- Familiarity with hand tools, fabrication techniques, and soldering practices.
