- Knowledgeable in GD&T
- Proficient in creating drawings and 3D models
- Proficient in creating parts and assemblies in Solidworks
- Fastener or metal forming experience is preferred
- Knowledgeable about various manufacturing processes
- Experienced in Pro Engineer
- Experienced with MRP/ERP system
- Experienced in Solidworks Manage
- Experienced in Solidworks PDM
- 15 years experience as a machine operator
- Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $74,000.Design tooling for fastener manufacturing processes, such as forming, tapping, turning, milling, etc. Tooling includes progressive dies and Formapak assemblies (dies, punches, transfer, cutter, quill, etc.). Studies product requirements and specifications and confers with engineering and shop personnel to design tooling. Resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost of Manufacturing.
- Act as technical liaison between engineering and manufacturing
- Closely work with the manufacturing engineering and tool design group
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and coordinate between the functional groups
- Assist in product and process development
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes
- Design, standardize, and improve tooling
- Perform troubleshooting and problem solving
- Create work instructions, standards, and procedures
- Create technical and engineering drawings and CAD files
- Identify and perform process improvements
- Participate in lean and Kaizen events
- Act as technical liaison between engineering and manufacturing
