$120-170k base

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assign and manage tasks for a team of Electrical, Mechanical, and Software/Firmware Engineers.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of various Engineering projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Teams to develop and launch new products.
- Develop and propose budgets for engineering projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, achievements, and challenges.
- Oversee Sustaining Engineering activities for remote Manufacturing sites.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to promote our technology and network with industry professionals.
- Facilitate the training and onboarding of new Engineering Team members.
- Identify, manage, and develop talent to maximize individual and team effectiveness.
- Provides training to new and existing staff and supports them in their career goals.
- Lead continual Improvement activities that influence efficiency and cost-saving initiatives through analysis, employee involvement, and toolbox principles.
- Participate in Annual and Long-range planning processes for the division.
- Develop and deliver simplified and robust Engineering plans to ensure long-term success
- Proactively provide oversight and leadership and when appropriate direct the resolution of Engineering issues through local teams to ensure minimal cost and prevent any issues.
- Use effective change management skills to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate change.
- Lead, coach, develop, and influence associates for positive and proactive attitudes, personal accountability, and engagement
- Support, evaluate, and provide feedback on team member performance to goals regularly.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Business Unit Manager
People Leadership & Talent Development
- Leads and develops talent to maximize individual, team, and organizational effectiveness. Fosters a culture of engagement and accountability, cascading vision, and creating goal alignment
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas and plans. Coaches through feedback, development planning, and performance management
- Champion the effective use of change management principles, strategies and techniques to plan, implement and evaluate change.
- Builds a strong pipeline of talent to ensure a diverse high performing organization.
- Lead a change management process to build organizational capability to sell solutions using a consultative approach.
- Identify, develop and monitor development plans for direct reports and high potential leaders.
- Create an organizational structure with accountabilities to ensure a high functioning operational team and change talent when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with 10 years’ experience in the Semiconductor Industry
- MBA or Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is preferred
- Excellent communication, written/verbal and interpersonal skills.
- International experience and ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Demonstrated success in talent development - acquisition and development.
- Able to lead people and get results through others.
- Customer centric, always bringing forth the Customer’s perspective.
- Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Travel Requirement – international travel <10%
