As an Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of innovative engineering solutions. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled engineers to design, develop, and implement automated systems. This position requires a dynamic individual who possesses a deep understanding of automation, PLC programming, HMI, VFD, and electrical engineering. This role also requires strong leadership skills, budget management, and a proven track record in engineering management. You will be a part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of our engineering projects.
Responsibilities
1. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers in the design and implementation of automation systems.
2. Oversee the development of PLC programming, HMI, and VFD for various projects.
3. Manage the engineering budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and projects are completed within budget constraints.
4. Collaborate with other departments to understand project requirements and develop innovative engineering solutions.
5. Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
6. Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Manage and optimize workflow processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and incorporate new technologies into company projects where appropriate.
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on automation.
3. Proven experience in PLC programming, HMI, VFD, and electrical engineering.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams.
5. Excellent budget management skills, with a proven ability to manage resources effectively and complete projects within budget constraints.
6. In-depth knowledge of engineering design and automation technology.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in automation technology.
10. Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and meeting quality standards.
