Job Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the company's expansion into new markets, aligning with the overall growth strategy
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients, aiming to increase their investment
- Conduct in-depth analyses of past campaigns to develop new initiatives and partnerships
- Exercise sound judgment in determining the appropriate written information required by customers
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information to internal departments for quoting and order processing
- Negotiate delivery and pricing with customers, striking a balance between customer satisfaction and profitability
- Identify and communicate necessary changes to standards, considerations, and tools to eliminate repetitive errors or inefficiencies
- Plan and set up trade shows
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding and adherence to company standards, procedures, and policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical project management, or a related field, or equivalent sales experience
- 10+ years of experience as a salesperson, with direct customer interface in the automation or engineer-to-order industry
- MUST HAVE proven experience building business with end clients in the Engineering and Manufacturing space
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, purchase orders, and business communications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D solid models
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM software and basic skills in navigating SolidWorks viewer and AutoCAD viewer
- Regular travel to clients is required for this position
