Pay Rate: $30-35/hr
Overview:
Perform standard to moderately complex engineering analysis, design support and administrative tasks related to non-standard commercial and industrial meter stands. This may involve the installation of new stands, or the modification of existing stands. Provide technical support for Operations on existing meter stands. This may impact multiple systems or programs, which require independent evaluation and coordination. He/she makes decisions and exercises technical judgment within the scope of the system or project and makes final recommendations related to complete projects or multi-discipline problems.
- Partner with various departments and customers to determine the needs for individual installations of the largest and most complex customer meter stands
- Perform engineering duties to establish design criteria and develop guidance for designers
- Host milestone meetings for stakeholders of each project
- Obtain the materials and construction resources needed to complete the work
- Maintain, collect, and apply feedback for continuous improvement
- Perform drawing document management and drawing record completeness
- Execute the 5 year plan along with other initiatives to improve the system health
- Assist in the development of SWI specific to the C&I discipline

Skills that will set you apart from others:
- Project Management experience
- CAD experience – Microstation, AutoCAD
- SAP experience
- Working Knowledge of the Michigan Gas Safety Code
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field with two (2) or more years of experience in the specific field.
- (OR) An Associate degree in a scientific/technical field with five (5) years of experience in the specific field.
