Position: Employment Litigation Attorney
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years in employment law litigation
Location: Must be licensed in Arizona. Work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation Leadership: Oversee and manage all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment and strategy development to trial. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, handling motions, and appearing in court.
Client Engagement: Actively collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs, provide strategic advice, and maintain regular communication to ensure they are informed about the status and progress of their case.
Negotiation & Mediation: Skillfully negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations, advocating for their best interests and pursuing favorable outcomes.
Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct thorough legal research and craft high-quality briefs, motions, and other legal documents essential to case success.
Depositions & Hearings: Lead and manage depositions, represent clients in pretrial hearings, and effectively argue motions in court.
Employment Law Consulting: Offer comprehensive employment law consulting services to clients, guiding them through complex workplace legal issues and compliance challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of focused experience in employment law litigation.
Proven expertise in handling litigation in both federal and state courts.
Strong command of procedural law and motion practice.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and defend depositions, represent clients in hearings, and litigate cases to trial.
Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with a track record of producing effective court submissions.
Adept at managing client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and a client-centered approach.
