About the Job
HSAGP(Hyundai-SK America Green power) Energy LLC. is Hyundai Motor Group and SK On' s joint venture company to produce batteries for electric vehicle batteries. The joint venture plans to invest $5 billion to build an EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia. Hyundai Motor Group and SK On will each hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture. The new plant created by the two companies is expected to start manufacturing battery cells in the first half of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 35 GWh, enough to support the production of 300,000 EVs a year. The future Bartow County plant in northwest Georgia is strategically located near Hyundai Motor Group’s existing and planned U.S. facilities. Hyundai Motor Group broke ground last year on the new Hyundai Motor Group Meta plant America in southeast Georgia to make future Hyundai, Genesis and Kia EVs. Summary
Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for promoting a positive workplace environment through employee communications and engagement. This position involves managing employee relations, conducting investigations into workplace issues, and working with management to promote employee engagement and retention. ER specialist will assist with employee training and support implementation of company's initiatives. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Employee Morale, Motivation and Satisfaction Management
- Implement measures to increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction while reducing turnover
- May conduct employee engagement surveys, work lifestyle programs, on-boarding programs, diversity and inclusion programs, and training, etc.
Coaching and Training
- Coach manager and employee through the performance management process
- Conduct training sessions for manager to improve employee relations and people skills
Employee Relations Issues Management
- Investigate employee and/or supervisor complaints regarding conduct, performance, or attendance
- Mediate between employees
- Monitor diversity/equal employment opportunity program compliance
- Monitor internal complaints/ disputes that may lead to labor unionization
- Monitor external labor union trends and movement
Other task as necessary to meet the organization's objective
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of relevant experience in high volume manufacturing
- 1-4 years leading a team or managing process
- Working level English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
